Vandre by Rauma Garn - Fine Norwegian Wool

Vande consists of 100% Norwegian wool, of which 50% is from späelsau. The long fibers from the pile sheep make the yarn more durable. That's why Vandre is particularly suitable for socks.

Socks knitted in Vandre should be machine-washed before use. It helps the fibers "settle, " increasing wear resistance and making the socks more dirt-repellent. In addition, the socks become softer and fluffier!

Wash the socks at 40 °C on a program that lasts approx. 1 hour. Use full spin. Shape the socks while they are still wet and let them dry flat.

Vande is produced at our factory in beautiful Romsdalen. Here we card, spin, twist, wash, dye, and skein the yarn from 100% Norwegian wool. We are proud to be able to offer all Norwegian products!

Norwegian wool is particularly characterized by good wear resistance, resilience, and elasticity. Spun as carded yarn, wool provides the ideal balance between functionality and comfort. The result is light, airy, and user-friendly garments with a long lifespan.
