SWW HAT PATTERN
The official 2024 Shetland Wool Week knitting pattern the ‘Islesburgh Toorie’ has been exclusively designed by the Doull family as the SWW Patrons for 2024.
Knit the hat in any of the suggested colour variations, or come up with your own colour scheme.
Please note: If you are unsure of your tension or are knitting the medium or large sizes you will need 2 x 25g balls of Yarn A.
A special SWW Knit-A-Long has been created for the Islesburgh Toorie on facebook. We would love everyone to join in and share their beanie works in progress, questions and photos – join the Knit-A-Long Group.
This kit contains 5 - 25 g of balls of Sprindrift. You will need to buy the pattern separately from SWW website.
The hat pattern is available for £1 as a digital download or order a printed copy for £2 +p&p.

Please check your tension carefully and adjust your needle size accordingly.
It is important that you knit a swatch, wash it, and measure your tension once it is dry.
Hand wash, lay flat to dry.
