Tinde fur wool yarn

Norwegian fur sheep is a separate Norwegian breed of sheep, different from the Norwegian white sheep. Norwegian fur sheep have gray curly wool that contains both light and dark fibers. The dark fibers give the yarn an exciting depth and melange when it is dyed.
The wool is fine, soft and silky. This means that yarn made from fur wool is softer and more shiny than wool from Norwegian white sheep.
The yarn has good felting properties, it becomes fluffy and gets a nice halo after felting.

Tinde fur wool yarn is a shiny, soft and airy hand knitting yarn made from Norwegian fur wool. Tinde fur wool yarn is well suited for fine jumpers and cardigans for adults. It is also suitable for children's garments and small garments such as hats, scarves and mittens.

Color 2115 is the fur sheep's natural color and the other 33 colors are dyed on this. Tinde can be combined nicely with Sol wool yarn .

Tinde can also fit nicely as a weft when weaving plaid.

100 g = approx. 260 m. Nm 5.2/2, 2-thread, 100% Norwegian wool.
Supplied in bags of 100 g (2 x 50 g).

Knitting gauge: 22 mx 29 rounds = 10 x 10 cm on needles 3.5 – 4 mm.

Tinde is well suited to machine knitting. There is an additional charge of NOK 125 per kg for winding.

Laundry advice

Garments knitted in wool yarn do not need to be washed too often. Allow the garment to air well after use.
When it needs to be washed, we recommend hand washing with mild wool soap and letting it dry flat.
